The Lincoln Highway follows Market Street (PA 462) all the way through York City when heading west to east. If you are coming from the other direction, you will need to follow East Philadelphia Street one way through the city to West York. If you are traveling on East Philadelphia Street you do not want to bypass all the Lincoln Highway resources that are along Market Street. Note that Continental Square in York is the intersection of the Lincoln Highway and the Susquehanna Trail the two most important early highways in Pennsylvania.
